Our commitment to our patients and clients makes us dedicated to being locally owned. Here’s what that means. Our doctors determine their own treatment plans. We budget time and arrange office flow so you get to talk to your clients and help them, as opposed to communicating through runners and notes. You get to practice in one location, with your regular clients. No transfers. No covering multiple locations. You are consulted on all practice-management decisions that affect you, and you get to collaborate on practice decisions with the other doctors in an environment of mutual respect.

If you are not from our area, consider this. Nestled in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains, our practice sits less than a mile from North America's oldest river, the beautiful New River. We are in proximity of two veterinary referral centers, one 24-hour hospital, and other practices where we refer. The median home value here is $129K. The Position:

• Paid Time Off: 3 weeks.
• Perks:
• Free small animal care.
• Free boarding.
• Paid: Virginia license, North Carolina license, health insurance, liability insurance, AVMA dues, DEA, CE allowance including hotel.
• Hours: 35-40 hours per week. Days off during the week are part of most schedules. You will work some weekends. You are not on call.
